George is a genetically engineered Tribble created by Andorian scientists. Unlike 'natural' Tribbles, he has been engineered as a two-gamete species to enable the controlled breeding of the species to use as Andorian hand warmers.

I'm very worried about George. He keeps bumping into things. In fact,
today, he walked into the patio door and he's hurt his ... um ... head.
